Privacy Policy

Hello. This privacy policy outlines how DOXA AI uses and processes the data of our users. By signing up to DOXA AI and taking part in DOXA AI competitions, you agree and consent to this. If you have any further questions, please get in touch.

DOXA AI collects information provided by users as part of the account registration process, such as a name, email address, username and password. DOXA AI may also collect and store other information and metadata provided by users, either directly (such as for user profiles) or, with user permission, indirectly through external services that link into DOXA AI and third parties that help deliver DOXA AI services.

This includes but is not limited to any content posted on the site, information related to any teams formed, the performance of any submissions to the platform, as well as data provided by and associated with external services, such as full names, organisational or academic affiliations, and other related information.

DOXA AI may also collect data related to communications with users, such as email addresses and the contents of these communications, and use this to contact users related to their use of DOXA AI services and, if consent is given, occasionally for marketing purposes.

Where users are enrolled on competitions hosted by third parties, DOXA AI may share user contact details with those third parties to enable and support the running of those competitions.

DOXA AI collects and processes data in line with applicable data protection laws, including the United Kingdom GDPR, on the lawful basis that the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes in line with Article 6(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Where data does not have a specific retention period, it will be retained as long as necessary to deliver our services, to comply with any legal retention requirements and to pursue our legitimate interests. If you wish to delete your account and request the erasure of any personal information held by DOXA AI, do reach out to us directly.

Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner' Office in the United Kingdom if they are not satisfied with how DOXA AI processes and stores collected data.

DOXA AI will try to keep this privacy policy up to date as the nature of DOXA AI services changes.
