Rules

To participate in ClimateHack.AI 2023, you must be a student over the age of 18 enrolled at one of the participating universities and also comply with the following rules:

  1. You must compete fairly and treat other participants with respect.
  2. You agree to license your final submission in each round under the MIT license and certify that you have the right to grant this license so that you can contribute to the open-source solar PV nowcasting ecosystem.
  3. You agree that ClimateHack.AI organisers reserve the right to reject any submission.
  4. You must not commit "contract cheating" where you procure a third party to create a submission for you.

We encourage collaboration – you are free to talk about, develop and share solutions with other participants!

In order to be eligible to become a finalist, your final submission should surpass the score threshold on the scoreboard of 0.15000, which approximately corresponds to the naΓ―ve approach of assuming solar power generation remains constant from the last known value. Organisers reserve the right to use their discretion when filling teams where spaces remain.
